When I start up the program, the "spinner" appears on the mouse pointer for
5-6 seconds after the program loads. This is on a pretty fast Win7 32bit
machine with a very fast SSD. I've seen this happen for a number of versions
and was hoping that v4 might fix it, but it's no different.
What is FreeFileSync doing during that initial startup that causes Windows to
put up the spinner?
I can't really see any processing going on with Process Monitor and it's odd
that such a small program would do this, especially on such a fast system.

It's somehow triggered by the launcher. I'll investigate.

Fixed! This wasn't about performance, but the launcher not processing window
messages. Thanks for notifying, even the small things matter.

You're welcome! Great program, so I'm glad to help.
