Hello,

Thanks a lot for this great software, first.

As the title suggests, I'd like to know if I can automatically make the copied files to be 'read only'. I need it for a mirror backup that I run everytime I want to have an exact copy of my current job status (using the %Date% attribute), so the last thing I'd ever want is to overwrite the target files.

I've tried searching here and on Google, and haven't been able to find anyone asking my (pretty unusual maybe) question.

Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance !

There is nothing built-in to do that unfortunately.

The best advice anyway:
Run your FFS (backup) syncs under dedicated user credentials,
only this dedicated sync user having write access to the backup location;
all other users only at best having read access.
Also a pretty decent protection against ransomware.
