Schedule batch jobs suddenly stopped working on MAC

Recently my scheduled batch jobs have stopped running. I've deleted, and recreated the automator files but that has not helped. I'm running High Sierra. Any input would be appreciated.

You'll need to do some basic troubleshooting first. Do they run at all? Do they run and get stuck? Does a different task work?

Thanks for the reply. I was able to take some time this weekend to look more closely at the problem. I found that for some reason the associated calendar alerts had returned to their default values. Deleting and recreating the events via Automator did not change things. I was able to modify the Calendar entry within the Calendar application and everything is working fine.

Can you tell me please how have you set your calendar alerts?

I'd suggest you look at the calendar entry for the backup and make sure the repeat and alert values are as expected. I've included an attachment showing how mine are set up.
