Hi all,

I'm using FFS for years, mainly for backuping my PCs to my NAS.

Recently I have a new need: I have a project on 2 PCs, and I synchronize them with the NAS : PC1 <-> NAS <-> PC2. Since I only work on one PC at a time, there are no "forked" versions.

But there is something I don't understand:
- If I select [Two way], it considers a file missing on the PC as a Conflict <- ???
- If I select [Custom], it considers the missing file as to be copied <- OK

Why does the [Two way] consider it as a conflict ?

Thanks

Most likely, the file at stake has changed on both sides since the last (two-way) sync between those two locations was run.
In such case, FFS does not know which version you want to copy where and presents it as a conflict, to be resolved manually by the user.
You can do that e.g. by changing the proposed action (here none, as it is a conflict) by clicking the action-icon in the Compare results window in between the left and right location of the conflict file.
