I'm synchronizing a big bunch of files in an encrypted folder (using Cryptomator) in a NAS (I mention this, but I don't know if it is relevant or not). I use the "mirror" synchronization mode with "Size and time comparison". The thing is that when the files are copied to the target folder they (at least, most of them) receive the modification time and date of *now*. So, if I start synchronizing/mirroring again right after the first synchronization, FreeFileSync tries to copy it all again (the modification date of the original files -older- does not match the modification data of the target files -newer-, so it assumes that the files are different).
The result is tons of data copied again unnecessarily, delaying a lot the synchronization process. Any ideas about why this happen and how can I solve this? It is really annoying.
Thank you in advance.

Via which protocol do you connect to your NAS?
I don't know about Cryptomator, but for "normal" files:
When connecting using the CIFS/SMB protocol, the file dates should be retained.
When connecting via FTP, file-dates normally become the copy-over date.
What happens if you manually copy an existing file to the Cryptomator folder?
