Is there a general guide of how to compile the source code of FFS ?

Is the source code released for windows ? If not which OS ?

I tried to compile it with mingw64 boundled with msys2 for windows but failed.
However, I still want to do it.

I also don't understand why this project is so secretive about build instructions.

It's a tough question. A few years ago, the make target "install" was removed as well! Would following instructions for Debian or Fedora Linux help you? https://gitlab.com/bgstack15/stackrpms/-/tree/master/freefilesync

I would like instructions also. Not extremely important although it would be nice to know how to compile.
