I'm getting this error message after updating to 11.25. Never happened before. Any ideas why and how to fix this?

FFS is checking for correct file extensions: ffs_gui, ffs_batch

There's no need, this is due to the following change:
FreeFileSync 11.24 [2022-08-28]
-------------------------------
Require config type and file extension to match

Could explain that further?

Are you saying that if you had a

"dumy.ffs_real"

its' Commandline is now required to reference, dumy.ffs_batch, rather then some arbitrarily named, "test.ffs_batch" ?

No, it means weird stuff like the following will fail now:
• Create a .ffs_gui file, and give it a .ffs_batch extension
• Create a .ffs_gui file, and save it as a file without any extension
