Hello,

I saved a simple batch mirror synchronization and was using real time sync to automatically update the target folder. I no longer need the sync to happen. If I delete the sync settings that i saved i then get an error message each time I manually change files in either folder outside of FFS.

How do I stop FFS and RTS programs from continuing to try and sync. I just want it to go back to before i set up the sync.

Thanks,

Matt

FFS nor RTS never "starts by itself", unless it is placed in the users Autostart folder (assuming Windows), or started as a Scheduled Task. Deleting the *.ffs_batch -file does not change anything, other than that FFS or RTS is not able to find the *.ffs_batch -file and throws an error.
Simply remove the RTS job from the users Autostart folder or delete the Scheduled Task that starts RTS.

The only thing then left to do is to restart your computer, or to identify and kill the RTS task via the task manager.
