V 11.29 failure

I have used FFS for the last 2 years successfully. After downloading the above build every mirror synchronisation I do slows down and eventually stops. What do you think, s/w or one of the hard drives starting to fail?

You can test by installing version 11.28 and checking!

I upgraded to 11.29 also. Did a mirror of 53,1GB (30 files). Speeds were consistently over 500 MB/s except a couple times. They dipped for a few seconds to <100 MB/s but bounced back. Not sure what that was caused by, likely a second connection to the same computer. The second time it dipped was when the drive cache filled up, but it never fully stopped.

I would bet there is some other issue going on

Do the logs (\FreeFileSync\Logs) show anything of interest?

Good question, but I don’t appear to have to have logs or even that directory
