Re: RealtimeSync not detecting changes through Symbolic Links
Is there some way you can circumvent the default Windows behavior so that this is possible?

RealtimeSync not detecting changes through Symbolic Links
I am syncying my Desktop to a network drive. I created a Symbolic Link to my Desktop in another folder on my C drive. I then sync that folder and it contents, which syncs my Desktop (through the Symbolic Link using the "Follow" option) to the network drive. I set this all up in a .ffs_batch file ...

This question is more of a "can it be done" question, and it pertains more to
how to configure Windows versus FFS, most likely. However, since Zenju
(and others) know way more about the intricacies of Windows than me, I figured
it would be a good place to ask. I have used FFS previously for personal ...

Re: Rename Conflicts & FTP help
Zenju,
>I'm not sure if the alternate handling of copying the conflicting files on
each others side under a different name adds a significant benefit that
justifies its own GUI option.
So does this mean that FFS could still accomplish this with a non-GUI
approach, say, using a batch file? If ...

Re: Windows Error Code 64
Zenju,
Since the new release, I am still having intermittent problems with RTS
regarding the Windows Error Code 64.
I uninstalled v3.21 and installed the new 4.0 release, just to be sure nothing
from the old version was lingering around. From time to time, I am still
getting the same message ...

Rename Conflicts & FTP help
Hi Zenju,
Thanks for all your help with everything so far.
Along with using FFS at work, I have decided that it would also be great to
use for a personal application. My band and I happen to use a lot of
electronic files and need a way for file collaboration. Currently, we are
using Dropbox ...

Re: Windows Error Code 64
Zenju,
Thanks so much for the quick response and updated exe. This is really an
awesome community here.
Your update seems to have fixed the problem (once again, tried it at work and
at home - success at both locations). However, there is a slight (and which I
believe to be very minor) bug now ...

And by "lasted version", I meant "latest version". Sorry, I hate spelling
errors (even though I always make them!)

Re: Windows Error Code 64
Sorry, I forgot to mention that I am using the lasted release, version 3.21. I
also just tried a newer beta version I found in another post (v3.22 beta8),
and i still had the same problem, except that the error pop-up message read
slightly different:

Hi,
First I just want to say thank you for all your hard work and for making this
freely available. I am just starting with FreeFileSync, but it looks great.
First, a little background:
