Re: Android compatibility?
Thank you Zenju! The first link was not my exact problem but close enough: In my Droid Razr Maxx I had to change the USB setting from "Connect as Media Device" to Mass Storage. After that I am able to run a backup from both the Internal and External SD card storage to my laptop. Yay! Thanks again!

Android compatibility?
Hi Zenju,
I tried to create a Compare of files in my Android phone but FFS responded with "invalid folder". Since Windows recognizes the folders I wonder if there is any chance FFS could? Should I go put this in the Suggestions forum instead?
Thanks,
Mike

Re: Problem with versioning
Thanks for the help. I'm going to take awhile to work on this (weeks) and then
I'll get back to you. I have several deadlines looming and your program is
working well enough to let my questions go for the moment.
To help you in return I will say two things:

Re: Problem with versioning
I'm back (like a bad penny). I fixed my versioning problem, it now works as
expected. In fact everything works very well except one thing:
One of my two nightly backups is a simple mirror copy of Volume_1 to Volume_2
in a NAS box. I have that set up to do no versioning, deletion handing is "to ...

Re: Problem with versioning
Thank you. I'm working on it, just have many things competing for my time and
I've somehow made it complex.
I'll be back soon.

Re: Problem with versioning
I'm going to guess that your file "sync.ffs_db" retains information about
where existing Versions folders are.
Is "relocate.xml" your file also?
I ask because I think the only way I'm going to fix my strange problem with
Versions folders is to delete everything that couls possibly retain any ...

Re: Problem with versioning
Hi Zenju,
I am very new to FreeFileSync! I am using FFS 5.7 on Win 7 32 bit.
I can't find the "alternate sync settings" button, or ANY configuration
buttons that are in line with the folder pairs. The only thing I see in line
with folder pairs is the center column where you can see what FFS ...
