Shrug, idk. I'd edit a file with gedit on the linux machine and Save. RTS wouldn't catch it, no matter how long I waited.
If I edited that same file (or any) in notepad in Windows, and saved it, RTS would immediately catch it.
It's no big deal. I'm using Task Scheduler and it's working fine.

Is it possible to have a versioning changelog only if an update occurs?
Title. If no changes detected, write no changelog. If ANY change detected, write changelog.
Is this possible?

Re: RTS not working across linux share
I got it with 15-second intervals on Task Scheduler. Now just wondering if it's a limitation of RTS.

RTS not working across linux share
I have RTS running a Two Way Sync on a Windows machine. Tried both mirror and Two Way.
One folder is local on the windows machine, syncing to a mapped drive shared on a linux machine.
The goal is to have any updates on the linux share immediately backed up to the windows machine.

Versioning Only
This may be a dumb or obvious question, but is there a way to have a script set up that doesn't backup everything to a new location, but instead just watches for changes and does a Versioning move?

Re: RTS doesn't work with Google Drive, but...
Google Drive doesn't support monitoring, which is what RTS is designed to do. RTS is not a replacement for Task Scheduler
It just doesn't make any sense. FFS supports synchronization on Google Drive, but RTS, a program designed to run in real time, won't do it.
Instead, I have to resort ...

Is it correct that RTS will not work with Google Drive?
I can write a script that will click on Synchronize in FFS every 5 seconds and it works fine.
So why doesn't RTS have the ability to use Google Drive?
Thank you.

Easiest way to get photo on phone to all computers?
Hello,
I've been using Google Drive for a few years for file sync across multiple computers and my phones.
Drive is deprecating Windows 7 soon, and I will not be upgrading to Windows 10.
