yes you can !
You can silently install FFS like that :
FreeFileSync_6.0_Windows_Setup.exe /S /D=C:\FreeFileSync
(/D to specify the target dir, if not set, it will be %programfiles%)
Then, on my side, i created a scheduled task (via GPO) on each machine that runs this :

i definitely believe this is needed as someone who synchronizes over a VPN the process is painfully slow because it needs to wait for the overhead on each file reducing a broadband connection to dialup simply because it cannot execute multiple transfers simultaneously.

SyncToy leaves db files all over the place. I like the sync.ffs_db files because I am running script to watch the central sync location for changed *.ffs_db files and to report last sync times. It would be great if I knew way to query this db files to see what is inside and if it can be useful for ...

Just before New Year I updated FFS from 5.4 to 6.0, and today my users were waiting in for me with shotguns :(
