Re: newbie Question

Actually, if you have a meshnet product this is exactly what it is designed to be used for.

I have a truenas scale Nas server at home that runs Joplin server and nextcloud and a bitWarden and it's running a mesh Network product from a company called tailscale. At the entry level it is free for up ...

Re: At a total loss

ffs_delete_installs.jpg Do you have the email from when you did your donation? It should have a hyperlink to where you download the donation Edition from. In there somewhere should be a list of or the number of machines that you have installed the software on. You should be able to delete ...

Re: Longer and longer backups, on flash memory...

Agreed.

You might want to, with some test files, make sure your USB stick isn't going bad on you. If and when you can, think about switching to a small external SSD drive. 100x faster.

Here is an example of a fast SSD made in to flash drive form factor. https://a.co/d/f7vJq8c

Are both laptops logged in to the same Onedive account, or are these two different users?
Probably the same but need to ask.

OneDrive can have the file stored on the PC and in the cloud or in the cloud only, Etc make sure that you are certain that the folder that you're using on computer a has ...

Re: Upload updated files to ftp server without scanning remote ftp server

Well, I don't modify a lot of files at one time and I sort them by date with the most recently modified files at the top. If you select all files then copy or as they say upload or download then it will compare the source file to the destination file and only upload files that are modified newer ...

Re: Upload updated files to ftp server without scanning remote ftp server

Hi,

Is it possible to upload locally updated files to remote ftp server without scanning remote ftp server?

I work on html sides locally and then want to upload the changed files to webserver through ftp. But if I scan remotely, it takes too long.

If this is possible, can someone please give me ...

Re: Slow sync on 256Gb usb - solution

I would stay away from that thing. You CAN'T get a real SSD for $18. It will be 50+ depending on side.
Remember, your goal is to make your life easier.

Re: Slow sync on 256Gb usb - solution

I switched to external SSD drives. More expensive but for under $100 you can get a big drive that's really fast. More than 10 times faster than the regular USB flash drives. I get maybe 25 megabytes per second on a regular flash drive where I get 600 to 700 Mbps on an SSD so you might want to if you ...

Re: Cannot RDP after sync in progress: Business Edition

I presume the RDP program that you are using is the Microsoft one that comes with server?

If so, is that particular software a hard requirement?

There is a really nice open source remote desktop software program called rust desk. It works on local networks and over the internet without needing to ...

Re: FTP protocol does not support directory monitoring

I'm going to take a shot at the answer to this question and if my recall is clear the answer is that it is not possible for real-time sync to monitor Google Drive directly. If you synchronize the folder down to your PC you can have the software monitor the local folder for changes.

I don't know if ...

Have you tested against another Cloud Server with your same files?

You can also try testing with filezilla. It supports SFTP and it's not an automated program like free file sync but it will ...
