The system tray icon matches the program icon and changing it would be confusing. Many icons are red in the system tray, color alone doesn't indicate status.


I can see not wanting to change the icon color yourself, but you're opposed to letting users set a custom icon to their preferences ...

I would love to be able to change the icons used, at least for the system tray icon.
Having a red icon for RealTimeSync.exe makes me constantly look at my system tray thinking I missed something. At least change the icon to a more neutral color if user defined icons are impractical.
