Zenju, it is a new HD which is formatted and is reported both in Windows and in the NAS as 2TB. It does not contain any data. Therefore it is strange that 1.3TB cannot fit, as well as the error warning of not enough capacity.What FFS shows in a warning message is available size, not total size.Zenju

In the original set-up the NAS had 4 individual HDs: 2x2TB, 1x1TB, 1x500GB, these were all correctly reported by FFS.
In the new set-up it is 3x 2TB and 1x 1TB. Now FFS reports the new 2TB as 1GB, the others are reported correctly. That is what I don't understand.

FreeFileSync reports wrong HD size
I am using FFS for many years now and never had an issue till today. I replaced a 1TB HD in the NAS with a 2TB harddisk. Both the NAS and W8 report the HD being 2TB, however FFS tells me it is only 1TB. I have removed FFS, cleaned the register with CCleaner, re-installed, re-started the computer etc ...
