I suspect MS has done this intentionally to force folks from 2000, XPsp1, and
XPsp2. The same problem is happening now with apps compiled with the latest
C++. Problem is, there are still a lot or folks unwilling or unable to
'upgrade', so using the latest MS tools (unless there's a workaround) will ...

Select folders to copy?
What's the easiest way to copy, say, 50 folders out of 500 from one drive to
another?
I was hoping I could drag-and-drop multiple folders to the input line, but it
only recognizes one folder at a time. The 'Hard' way would be to 'Include'
(filter) the individual folders, but that would require ...

Re: Don't update LastRun and GlobalSetting?
What about an option under 'File' (or in GlobalSettings.xml) to the effect ..
"Update config on exit" ? Leave it checked and everything remains as it is
now. Uncheck it and NOTHING is saved at close. As it is now, I have set the
files to R/O, but I get four annoying error messages telling me the ...

Re: Don't update LastRun and GlobalSetting?
Thanks for your reply. I prefer apps to work in true stealth mode and not
write anything to the usb drive. I set things up so every time I start an app
I know it's starting from an exact 'default' state. Then, I can change things
as needed when the app is open, knowing that the next time I start ...

Don't update LastRun and GlobalSetting?
Is there a way to tell FFS to not update/write to LastRun.ffs_gui and
GlobalSettings.xml? Or auto-clear the FolderPairs? Or perhaps kill the error
message if the files are set to read only? Sometimes it's desirable to start
with a known configuration, especially when working from a flash drive or CD.

Re: Put all icon and config stuff into menus !!
The large buttons and the info at the bottom creates a little bit of a problem
with Netbooks, which are limited to 1024x600. Would it be possible to shrink
everything a little, and perhaps move the bottom stuff up between the Compare
and Synchronize buttons?
