I would like to know as well:
* Does FFS use the full-hour differences as that (multiples of hours) or as maxima (as you specify). Because if when I specify 1 hour ignore, it is then going to always ignore anything SMALLER than 1 hour (which would be pointless for daylight savings differences ...

Re: LastSyncs.log
Oh, if you think 17k files is a lot... (I don't think you do, but still, if you make these limits so low) I recently downloaded the source code to something.
I think it had about 500k files in it and something like 27k directories (in the entire tree). Some people are crazy it's true. Not talking ...

Re: LastSyncs.log
<LastSyncsLogSizeMax Bytes="100000"/> is currently at less than 100 kilobyte.
I think my recent full backup ... it only logged about 1/4 of all operations. Maybe even less than that. I am happy to learn that I can change this, but a ~98K limit is really very very small. Much of that 98K is also ...

Re: Some questions (pre-sale :p)
Hey, I'm sorry, I went on a bit too long filling in all kinds of details that should be left to the actual programmer/author/creator to decide upon :).
I edited my post and took out the bits that are not important. Please take what remains as an indication of what *might* be a useful thing to ...

Re: Some questions (pre-sale :p)
Alright, my experience thus far:
..- creating a 'minimized' batch job and then executing it doesn't provide for ANY visual feedback. I did see an icon flashing, I believe, but since my job took less than a second to execute, I never saw anything useful.
..- making it non-minimized gives a ...

Re: Database Files
I think your suggestion is problematic.
For one, a program never stores such data in the program file structure of the program, but (on Windows) in AppData/Roaming or something similar. Thus you could argue for central storage in such a (user) location.
But the general opinion is that portable ...

Some questions (pre-sale :p)
Hi,
I just have a few simple questions. If you answer them to my satisfaction, I will immediately donate €20 to the project.
--1. When syncing to a USB drive, is it preferred to have it as an NTFS volume? My stick is currently FAT32, but Volume Shadow Copy will definitely not work on that ...
