I get the following output for tab autocomplete (above) and written filename (below):
ls od.png
ls od.png (39.37 KiB) Viewed 4054 times
This is as well interesting: the file with "ä" seems to be invisible - it is only listed with command ls -a.

I'm also facing the same problem. I want to sync to my connected Linux Samba Server on OSX 10.11 and have issues with all files with ä, ü, ö etc.

In the terminal I can see the files with ls but can't access them with cat "Notenblatt mit B und F Schlüssel.pdf" (funny thing: when using autocomplete ...

Hej,
it would be perfect to have a file execution option on error.
In my case: connection to server is aborted. After 5times retry of freefilesync - instead of an error - the reconnect script can be executed.

Syncing with Extended Characters from a SSHFS on OSX

Hi,
thanks for the great application. Since FFS v8 I get an error on files with special characters on OSX (10.11) when syncing my sshfs (MacFuse) directory.
It concerns all folders and files with "ä, ü, ö" etc. The Errormessage:
Error Code 2: No such file or directory (lstat)
Those file exists, in ...
