RunWithBackgroundPriority might help. To change between day and night handling, probably you'll need to play with WindowsScheduler, as the param is set in GlobalSettings.xml.

...basically everytime I setup the windows task scheduler it says that there is a problem with one or more arguments.

the only argument associated with this schedule are the programs address:
"C:\() Program Files\FreeFileSync\FreeFileSync.exe"
and the batch files location:
"C:\! Thomk Drive\Cloud ...

I have no clue.

I bought a new external HD. I created a folder named Video. I tried to sync. Free File Sync then behaved as I described.
Problem could have to do with Windows - as it has a folder "Videos" by default, which might be handled "special".
If the problem only happens with this name ...

The problem ist not, that i have to pay "again" - but communication:
What is missing is a clear hint to this fact when i decide to pay.

Perhaps an alternative way would be to add an option to auto-create the destination folder and NOT generate an error at all.

I use FFS daily to transport data via USB-Stick, where usually the target folder does not exist, so it get's quite a nuisance to hit, "yes, create it" over and over ...
