Unfortunately Cryptomator doesn't work with FFS.

I also need a WebDAV-connection.
Why is that still not implemented?
Does someone know a similar software with WebDAV-support?

I want FFS to use a virtual Cryptomator address like WebDAV, WinFsp or similar as a target for the backup.
Everything after that is working.

with a little help from Google you can learn how to mount webdav servers in windows file explorer and then back up via free file sync to return.


The problem is that FFS has only partial support of WebDAV aso., if any.
That's why it doesn't work with Cryptomator, without downloading ...

You could donate a penny and write in the message text that you already donated to get the donation version.

At least he isn't taking 5€/month for the donation version anymore.

FreeFileSync can't access WinFsp local drives, WebDAV aso. e.g. from the software "Cryptomator".

I can't even see WebDAV drives in FFS.

Yes, that is too much, especially if you don´t use it often.
I would have to pay 25 € for one Bugfix (I don´t use the new features) and that is many too much.
There was even the old model better, where you get the newest version for your donation, doesn´t matter how much.

The Donation Edition, where you get just a month update for 5 €, if there is even an update in that month, is way too expensive.
Especially, because much of the updates just bring minor use to the majority of the users.

E.g. for 50€ You get an professional backup software with all updates - not ...
