Hi, thank you for your responses. It's been a busy week, so I haven't had time to look into this topic. In the meantime, I have found another open source application that also works correctly.

I prefer an open source variant of an sftp server application. I tried https://f-droid.org/en/packages/org.primftpd/
and the synchronized data has the modification date of today again, so basically no solution.

Any other ideas?

I was thinking about rsync as a last resort ...

I have synchronized some folders from my MTP device (Android Phone) with my Windows folder share via FreeFileSync on Windows.

For other reasons, it was necessary to perform a hard reset of my Android Phone.

today I got an other error-message (and I think it's not the first time):

"\\my_nas_path\folder_on_nas\sync.tmp.ffs_db" can’t be moved to
"\\my_nas_path\folder_on_nas\sync.ffs_db"
errorcode 183: A file can’t be created, if it already exists. (MoveFileEx)

Are you using the same (latest) FFS ...

Sorry for the late response. I have used the "two way" variant from the very beginning till now. I know this very sure. Occasionally I get an “second part missing”-error-message.

sorry I forgot to write this important info but PC1, PC2 and NAS had been synced multiple times in the last few weeks/days.
