Re: Number of Users
I have a new problem re number of users: I've just upgraded from a 2011 iMac to a 2019 model. While I still have the old one running while I am setting up the new, I have deleted FreeFileSync on the old and also restarted the machine. However, on the new one, it still tells me that I have now 3 ...

Re: unexpected size of data stream Mac HighSierra
Zenju,
Thanks for the link. However, the linked beta version 10.9 is for Windows while I am working on a Mac. Any beta version for HighSierra?
Further, have now deleted the server version of one of my sync jobs and copied the entire folder again. Now the following message comes ...

unexpected size of data stream Mac HighSierra
I know that this topic was discussed a couple of years ago, but for Android. Could not find anything specific to Mac and would appreciate some advise.

Number of Users
I have purchased a donation edition for 2 users. When I install updates, it has started showing me that there are 4 users. I have however only installed this on my two macs, which I synchronise via a NAS server. Any idea what the reason could be?

Re: FTP: German Umlaut ignored
Don't really now the difference between decomposed and precomposed. And yes, I am using a NAS server (Qnap 259) to sync between Mac and PC. Nevetheless, until version 10.1 it worked but never after. So would be it so difficult to be fixed?

Re: German Umlaut ignored
Just realised that it's not only the Umlaute but any special sign such as an accent. I.e., cannot synch anymore my iTunes folder with Sinéad O'Connor and many others!

Re: German Umlaut ignored
Just came back from vacation and downloaded version 10.2 (donation version) Build 6/07/18 Unicode x64, and it screwed-up all my Umlaute again. While it worked in the previous version, it's all messed-up again, and I need to go through several hundred of files to change file names manually. Created ...

Re: German Umlaut ignored
Just downloaded the donation version 9.6, and Umlaute are still a problem. As in message of YvesSchaffar as of 11 July, the files containing Umlaute show as new files, but when I then try to sync, it states that it could not be copied as file already exists. I sync an iMac on Sierra with a Qnap, and ...
