Thank you @soit78, you have been very exhaustive. Unfortunately your configuration is not working for me. It keeps on freezing on files to delete or changed files to replace. (no matter if internal memory or external SD card) The only configuration working for me is the opposite way: mirroring phone...

since you don't experience any issue syncing your phone could you please tell me exactly what setting are you using? (comparison variant, syncronisation variant, direction if not two way, etc.)

If you mirror your phone to PC there sould be no problem at all. Setting synchronization as 'Mirror' and not opting for 'Detect moved files' means FFS doesn't touch any file and doesn't save/modify any db on the phone. Better then nothing I will probably use it but I badly miss the 'Two way' synchro...
