I had the same problem when translating the phrase to Greek. The description I ended up using would be back-translated into English as:
"Adaptation (or modification) of the right folder, so that it becomes an exact (mirror) copy of the left folder."

Re: Where is File Versioning Limit in 5.23?
I don't think there is an easy way to do this (nor that it is a very common scenario).
But if you really want it, I bet you can achieve it using macros, temporary environment variables and a batch or cmd file. See the "Macros" page of the Help file (esp. the last three paragraphs).

Re: Where is File Versioning Limit in 5.23?
You can have three options.
1. Keep all versions of old files
2. Save only the most recent version
3. Save versions at certain intervals
There is more information in the FreeFileSync Help file, under the tab " Versioning "
The appropriate menus are in Synchronization Settings > Versioning

Re: deleted files reappear
First of all, you must be sure that "Two-way" is selected in Synchronization Settings.
Secondly, after the first "two-way" sync, FFS creates a database file (sync.ffs_db) in each folder that holds information for the synchronization and "remembers" the current state.
If this file is deleted, then ...

Re: Turn off the sound when a sync is completed
It seems a legitimate request.
For now, I can suggest deleting the file "Sync_Complete.wav" in the FFS folder (or replacing it with a sound of your liking). FFS works fine without it!

Re: FFS won't exit
First of all, thanks for the reply!
My scenario is simple: I synchronize the database files and then I open the program that works using the database files (it is custom-made, let's call it DBExec). I have created a batch job that does the synchronization and on completion runs DBExec.

FFS won't exit
Hi!
I'm using version 5.22 on Windows 7 Ultimate. I've set up an FFS batch job so that on completion it will run another executable.
The comparison procedure finishes, the executable is run, but FFS won't exit. It remains non-responsive, waiting for the executable to finish (and then it exits, too ...

Multiple folder pairs & minor GUI su...
Hi, again, and thanks for a wonderful program (again)!
I've started using FFS with multiple folder pairs and I would like to make two
minor suggestions.
1. Since the left folder is treated as the "primary" one (as seen in sync settings) and most people read/act left-to-right, shouldn't the ...

Re: Greek translation and more
I didn't know where to put this (feature request?) but since it has to do with
(the Greek) translation) I'm posting it here:
In the messages regarding time (passed, remaining, etc) the time units
(seconds, minutes, hours, days) have in the English language convenient
plurals with an 's'.
So when ...

Greek translation and more
Hello!
I'm so enthrilled with this application that I decided to translate it into my
mother-tongue, Greek.
A couple of things:
-Shouldn't the first "Byte" (lines 5&6) in the .lang files be "Bytes"?
-A "D-click" in the .lang file, shouldn't it be "Right click"?
-Finally, trying to find the ...
