I have now a final answer from the support:
"The problem is not with the CLNT command, but with the subsequent QUOT query, which simply do not support the FTP connection via ftp.world4you.com (Central FTP Proxy) can. The reason for this is that the FTP proxy (which is not located on the web server ...

Re: CURLE_QUOTE_ERROR: QUOT command failed with 550
I did. Answer was:
"This may have to be complained directly to the manufacturer of the program."
I have now pointed out that I do not believe that it is the manufacturer's job to straighten out the buggy outputs of an FTP server. Let's see if something else happens...

Re: CURLE_QUOTE_ERROR: QUOT command failed with 550
I have reported it. Answer was:
"I didn't notice any issues on the server side. There are also no connection problems in the log data. With FileZilla, you can basically access other servers as well. Alternatively, it can also be accessed directly via the customer portal via web FTP."

Honest, I have no idea.

CURLE_QUOTE_ERROR: QUOT command failed with 550
The same credentials are working with FileZilla and Cyberduck, but not with FreeFileSync. Every time I'm trying to connect, I get "CURLE_QUOTE_ERROR: QUOT command failed with 550".
I used Wireshark to do some sniffing:
65 A -> B TCP 78 62377 → 21 [SYN]
66 B -> A TCP 74 21 → 62377 [SYN, ACK]

Feature Request: Read back and compare written files during sync
I would like to suggest a new feature, namely that the written files are re-read and compared with the original. Now it is the case that if I want to compare the content, I have to compare all the files again, which can take a very long time. I would like to see changed or new files, if any are ...

Enable/Disable if several syncs in list
Hello there,
If I have several synchronizations among each other, I would find it extremely good if I could deactivate individual lines without deleting them. would that be possible?
In this specific case I have a list of FTP servers that I want to synchronize in local folders. I load the settings ...

File pattern for auto-deleting at the target
I would like to be able to not only exclude files from the sync, but also to be able to specify file patterns that will be deleted from the target directory.
This could be me, e.g. get rid of temporary files created by operating systems or applications at each sync.

Files that change during the sync
When backing up my web server via FTP, files may change in the meantime, such as log files.
Can you perhaps introduce an option that allows me to indicate before the backup that such errors will be ignored and the files will be synchronized anyway?
