I've backed up numerous programs and folders individually. I believe what I've come upon in Tips & Tricks, "Select multiple configurations at a time", is a process for updating all at once. Am I right?
My second guess is that I could have saved the results of each backup and that each would appear ...

Well, for what its worth, this is an example of the error. Please not the the problem is failure of the brand new external hard drive (Seagate). Windows cannot repair it.
