Thanks for getting back... I was using mirror... my trash seems to be working but I think you might be onto something with that link... I've since (nervously) run the most recent update and all went well.. I don't have time to dig too deep so fingers crossed.. very worrying!

Just got a big fright... using the last version of FFS ( not the most recent, just updated now ).. on Catalina 10.15.7 ( latest version).. this version was recently updated..

Synced a folder of FCPX projects, one of which was new... the new project was deleted from the master drive and the backup ...
