Thanks. This works (of course) and is probably the only thing I hadn't tried. Before your replay, I actually found the GlobalSettings.xml file and edited it myself with Notepad.
Now I'd like to figure out how to control the order that things show in the two dropdowns - again solely a cosmetic issue ...

Remove item(s) from dropdown
More cosmetic than required but I'd like to know how to remove item(s) from the dropdown of previously used file locations.
I've tried highlighting the entry in question and hitting delete. I've also tried selecting the entry then pressing backspace (then enter).
The entry is still there.
