Thank you for this information - had thought of something like that

I have a question about syncing multiple directories into a directory that does not yet exist.
(For config see screenshot in the appendix)
/in/1/
/in/2/

syncing to

/out/[1] (1 doesn´t exists on the filesystem)

During the first run, ffs reports that the directory does not exist, but ...
