You could consider using Versioning. That will retain all files deleted or overwritten (updated) by FFS, in a self-selected location, for as many versions as you select and for as long as you select.

In- and Exclude Filter definitions are relative to the root of your base locations.
If Main is one of your base-locations, you need to exclude
\FolderA\A_Exclude\
not just
\A_Exclude\

By default, the FFS Compare results window only shows files for which sync actions (in any form) are required, and hides files it thinks are equal.
If you click the "="-icon mid below the Compare results, you can toggle the visibility of equal files.

Normally one installs the portable version on a USB-stick or -drive
(hence the name "portable" ...)
So, installing the portable version on a computer on which a previous (non-portable) version is installed, is normally not at stake, and defies the purpose of "portable".

FFS does not spontaneously open (one or more) Windows Explorer windows (unless you explicitly tell it to do so).

If you want to change the sync Action, try defining a suitable Custom sync variant.

You could try modifying the FFS source code ...

It is questionable if this is an FFS bug, as %ComputerName% is a (Windows) environment variable.
What does your computer show when you open a command shell (search for CMD) and type
echo %ComputerName% ?
If that is already incorrect, this is not an FFS issue.

Nope.
As said, FFS does not use hashes, as it makes no sense for FFS.
So, why would FFS then still waste time/effort in calculating hashes?
