Re: Backup stopped working
As a test, copy some files (something close to the size of your regular backup) "manually" (so outside of FFS) to your NAS. Does that complete successfully? Verify that the files are actually correct - even if the copy completed successfully. (So do a content or hash compare of the source ...

Staring at the pictures certainly did help. But what you did not understand, or pick up from that (& nor did I), is what Zenju said (above): This line suggests that you have "recycle bin" selected, not "versioning". For "versioning" the info message would be differe...

Just some links. In particular "some SSD lifespan" would seem to be wrong. (And supposedly SSD lifespan, in general, is a non-issue these days.) I'll also note that except for maybe Windows Explorer, other utilities (?) may not "show" the compression (so you may not particularly ...

Yes (it "removed" them).Did the Beta that I installed over my donation version remove the benefits of that version?
See if Donation features are available in the Beta (like, I think Parallel under Comparison settings).

You are using FFS 13.1 ? Yes (he was). (That too is, looking again, now, obvious from his .png screenshot.) Heh. OK, then maybe a bit more detail, explanation, might be needed ;-).
(When I looked, just now, I looked at 13.1 changes. And when I looked at 13.0's it must not have "clicked" as to what that might or might not have meant.)

Oh, so if you extract the .docx, you can find an actual .png. That helps. So tell us about "Trust.pdf". On one end, it is dated 10/16/2017. I take it that it dated the very same on the other? (Or is it?) And the sizes are the same (which we can see). (So what I've alluded to above in in fa...

Re: Scanning files takes hours over FTP - any ideas?
(Not sure that FTP has any bearing on the issue, particularly.) Might be a case where Resetting archive attribute on copied files could be of benefit (if it existed). If after a sync (& I guess, an Update-like sync at that), the archive attribute is reset. Then on the next scan, any source files...

Re: "Copy to..." function replaces same named files
FFS is not designed to copy from "many" to "1".
It is designed on the concept of directory pairs.
Versioning might do something for you, but again only in the context of directory pairs.

You have to be very specific about what you "select" & how you go about removing said items from selection. Spacebar will only remove individual (or all selected) items. To remove an entire directory (tree), spacebar will not work. (Used to, I kind of remember, in the past? Cannot Excl...

Re: On both file changes at different time, it will not sync newer file ?
I think it's because you are using Two-way, & using .db, & you (now) have files that were modified "externally" - outside the purview of the .db files, & because of that FFS does not know how to proceed (automatically). (There was a somewhat recent thread along this lines [but ...
