Did you ask about the FEAT response? It's obviously broken as can be seen with multiple clients and your logs.

Yes, if I could reproduce the issue from my end, chances are much higher to find out what this time out is really about. If you like you can send me an email. Then I can send you my credentuials and you can reproduce it with my FTP- Server. dklev, 12 Dec 2023, 00:49

I don't know. The server's FEAT response obviously returns garbage. This should be reported to "World4You" as a bug.

Re: CURLE_QUOTE_ERROR: QUOT command failed with 550
This is one crazy/broken FTP server: 1. The FEAT responses for FreeFileSync and Cyberduck are different! This should not be possible. 2. For FreeFileSync FEAT includes "CLNT". But when FreeFileSync sends "CLNT FreeFileSync", the server returns "500 Unknown command"!? Th...

Re: Fileid vs ObjectID for NTFS
Let's see...
File object IDs are supported only on NTFS volumes
But for NTFS we have:
In the NTFS file system, a file keeps the same file ID until it is deleted
Ergo:
Object ID = useless
File ID = perfect as persistent file identifier (on NTFS).

Ordered by increasing fees: bank transfer, credit card, PayPal
Bank transfer isn't free because it's also handled by Stripe, just like credit card.

Re: Email notification error.
Is this error reproducible? I've seen Apache mail servers bounce back "without error details". It turns out, they do in fact return details, but inconveniently disguised as email text, rather than part of the "message/delivery-status" block that email services expect and parse. I...

Re: FTP Timeout when sync bigger files
FTP uses two connections, one to transfer the data, the other to send control commands. In your video it almost looks as if the control connection timed out. This used to be an issue in the past, but should be fixed: https://freefilesync.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6928 FFS set's CURLOPT_TCP_KEEPALIVE...

Re: Updated to 13.1 Now Backup fails.
1. Your original FFS version is too old (apparently from 2020). It's configuration files are not recognized anymore. To migrate your config you already did the right thing and install a "no so old" version 10.22. Once all your config files have been migrated, you can install the latest FFS...

Re: File "modified" date/time changed
FWIW not setting modtime correctly in FFS 13.2 is certainly a bug outside of FFS. But if FFS can offer a workaround by reverting to the old behavior, so be it.

Re: File "modified" date/time changed
No changes on macOS, but Windows file copying indeed got changed a bit. Instead of redundantly setting modtimes during file copy and also directly after, FFS 13 extracts the file handle from the copy routine, so that modtimes are practically only set once. However it seems this duplicate second acce...

Re: Move right file fails to show old and new location. v13.0 & 13.1
This is a Windows text control bug related to the RIGHT_ARROW_CURV_DOWN(⤵) character. Windows incorrectly undercalculates its width. FreeFileSync implements a hack by adding whitespace characters to the last row. Unfortunately this proves insufficient in the above example.

Re: After Sync and no Changes The Software wants to sync all files again
Most web hoster's FTP does in fact support the MFMT FTP command to set file modification times. So it is indeed working fine in these cases. In other cases, maybe it's not that old FTP server software is used. My feeling is that users are deliberately disincentivized from using FTP by using a shabby...
