I was able to build freefilesync-11.21-1 for el8! Try the copr now.

I probably need to rebuild everything for EL8 then. I can't promise any built packages, but I will see what I can do this week to build it.

Of course there was a typo in what I had sent! It's /etc/yum.repos.d/ instead of /ec/yum.repos.d/.

Thanks for the patch for g++ < 12. Fedora 35 still has g++ 11 so I needed that. But Devuan Ceres has g++12 so I can skip the patch there.

It does crash, about 1 in 6 times. That message is not important. GTK always throws tons of warnings. In this case, canberra is a library related to playing sounds, but I'm pretty sure FreeFileSync doesn't use that one to play the notification sounds.
