As the title of this thread states, I've moved back to a Mac and, considering how reliable FFS has been over on the dark side, I sent a bit more $ and DL'd the Donation Edition for my new Air. As I'm preparing the config of my backup set, I remember over on Windows I had to launch the app as the admin in order for some sync tasks (certain files whose names escape me) to complete without intervention (some dialogs that would pop up periodically during the backup). Now that I'm on a Mac, I'm wondering if there are any special settings or incense-burning I need.
Here's my setup (all mirroring left-to-right):
Sources > > > > > > > > > > >Destinations
My Home Folder > > > > >Folder "A" on 2TB External SSD
1TB External SSD > > > > >Folder "B" on 2TB External SSD
I'll note that this is the same config I had on my PC. I'd like to keep the number of confirmation dialogs to zero once I craft the peoper config and save it to the Desktop. I'll be doing this tomorrow; any advice/suggestions will be gratefully welcomed.
Thanks,
Barry
