I use FFS on W11 and it can access the folders on my Pixel 10 Pro perfectly fine.

But on aurora Linux (immutable) I use the flatpak of FFS and when I point the path selector to the phone folder, FFS crashes.

I checked what I thought relevant permissions in Flatseal and also un-checked " Failsafe copy" since Google recommended that.

None of that helped.

Here the crash report:

What should I try?

Edit: I tried KDE connect to connect my phone via wifi. that works, but FFS can't point to the KDE connect.

Flatpack is not an official FFS distribution, and not supported via this forum.

Thanks for the response.
i tried to use the repo version in Kubuntu 26.04. But that is only 13.6(?) and for some reason can't " see" my phone or any other mounted drives like the flatpak version can.

I then installed in Kubuntu the tar-version from the website. But for some reason that also cannot see the drives. The flatpak version (same 14.9) on the same PC can see all my drives/folders just fine. Is there a setting or something that is needed for FFS to "see" everything?

this screenshot shows both 14.9 versions:
Left is the tar-file from FFS website ( no drives/phone), right is the flatpak version (showing phone, and other drives)

Did whoever packed the flatpak add this capability, or how do I see all my drives/phone?

Problem seems to be related to MTP issues in Linux.

But I found another solution. On the phone you can install an ftp program like “Cx File Explorer” and create an ftp share. In FFS, you can access that then if you are int he same network (which would normally be the case).
