FreeFileSync Version 14.3 on a new Geekom mini computer with Windows 11. Everything else is working fine.
I sync from C:\folder to F:\folder. The F: drive is a clone of the C:\ drive. They are connected by cable to a 2 TB NVme M.2 SSD. When done, FreeFileSync reports it can't find the F:\ drive (can't connect). Windows 11 reports a new disk H:, unallocated, primary partition with no media. That H: drive used to be my clone of the C: drive. I tried the same thing with a new cloned drive and a new 2 TB NVme M.2 SSD—same result.
Any suggestions, anyone? Has this happened to anyone else? I hesitate to upgrade because there is always a hassle about paying for the upgrade. Anyway, would the upgrade help?
Thanks

There is no pay-to-upgrade for FFS, aside from business licenses to some extent. The free version is obviously free, and the donation edition also gets updated at no extra cost. Update as you wish!
As for the initial issue, I would test with a different cable and/or NVMe enclosure

Thanks. I've tried two different enclosures and three different cables. I guess I sould start enquireing on the Geekom site.

Thanks to all for the replies. A simple chkdsk of my hard drive solved the problem.
