Hi All,
I'm having problems with mirroring an HD on another (same) HD.
I call disk 1 "A", and disk 2 "B" (both are 4GB).
Disk A has 3,8GB data, and disk B has 3,8GB (the earlier mirror of A).
I have 0,7GB data which I would like to add to disk A.
Of course that won't fit, so I deleted 0,8GB old data (old backups).
So the free space on A will be 3,0GB now.
Then I add the new 0,7GB data to drive A (which will be 3,7GB now).
So far so good.
Now I'd like to mirror disk A on disk B.
I thought that first the deleted folders on drive A, will be deleted on drive B by FFS.
But that is not what is happening.
FFS will first add all the new data from drive A (which is 3,7GB (0,7GB new)).
So FFS will try to add 0,7GB to disk (B) that contain 3,8GB right now.
The process stops after adding 0,2GB to the disk, with a "Disk full" error.
I hope that I am a bit clear on this matter.
Now the question:
Is there a way to have FFS delete the deleted folders on drive B first, before syncing, so there will be enough space on drive B?
Regards,
Ruud.

Thank you very, very much xCSxXenon,
I searched for an answer on this forum, but due to the high amount of posts, it's hard to find.
You pointed me to the right area, and the problem is solved in three cases.
I donated to FFS, and already received the bonus edition.
Again, thanks very much for your help!
Best regards,
Ruud.
