Hello,
First a little intro. I've been using this program for 5 years. It started off as a replacement for AllwaySync (which was mostly counterintuitive and not doing what I want), making fairly simple backups of my study documents. Now, FFS automates my backups for just about anything. It's reliable, straight forward to use and enables me to avoid shady cloud storages who "forget" to actually delete your documents (looking at you, Dropbox). Also loving the continuous updates. I've just decided to donate you a few beers, keep up the good work!
As mentioned, I use FFS for a lot of things. My largest .ffs_batch contains 20 folderpairs with often the same or very similar folder paths. Naturally, I find myself trying to find a specific folder pair which I can only identify by its exclude/include filters. What would be helpful to me is a 'description' field in a folderpair's settings where I can describe its purpose. If this description could then be shown in the sync-settings folderpair overview, or possibly even the main window next to each pair, this would make me even happier.
Cheers!

This is presently not supported via the GUI.
You might however try adding comments to the *.ffs_gui or *.ffs_batch XML file
by opening such file with a text editor (e.g. Notepad++) and adding your comment
per folder pair by means of the XML comment opening and closing tag:
<!-- Your single or multi-line comment here -->
I do not know if these comments "stick" if you change (and save) settings via the GUI.

Just tested on 8.8, they don't stick when saving from GUI. It would be a solution if I were to only work with the XML, but I prefer a GUI to save me from syntax errors :)

Not really, that's the configuration window. My request is about the folderpair window.
