I have thousands of files that I'm using FFS to compare, and it backs up any new ones it finds are backed up to my NAS daily and any I delete are removed from the NAS. Most are video, pictures, music, and audiobook files. And FFS works beautifully as a comparison and update solution...
However, I have 5 video files that get re-synced every single day.
They are just for backup and haven't been touched or even played in ages. Yet, FFS re-syncs them every single day. I'm using just the date/time/size for comparison. I've been spot checking the log files off and on for years, and even though they haven't changed, these exact same 5 files get sync'd over and over every single day.
I considered switching to file content checking, but on the first try, it was going to take somewhere around 3 days to finish verifying everything... So that is a non-starter.
However, the standard date, time, and size verification should be sufficient to determine that these files don't need to be re-synced.
Any thoughts?
I mean, it's not a major issue, but it just seems weird and unnecessary.

No direct clue what is causing these specific files to be synced every day.... However, I have 5 video files that get re-synced every single day.

However, if there is no need for these specific files to be synced, you may add these to your Exclude filter, e.g. by identifying these files in the Compare results and via a right-click add these to the Exclude filter.
