After enduring a nightmare that was rsync, i found FreeFileSync and really like it, but are not a fan of the icons and made a more macOS version. There is an obvious block by being unhelpful in building FFS, but, i assume, looking at the file contents after trying to include my own Icons.zip, FFS is also disallowing user icons.
Has anyone built their own version using their own icons?
Just in case the developers are watching or others find them useful....

Wow, that's a breath of fresh air! I don't have time to look at it in detail right now, but if someone wants to try it out, here's a fixed Icons.zip as a drop-in replacement based on GarryE's theme:
