I'm trying to sync my drive (97GB) to gdrive, and noticed the upload became very slow. May I know if there is a limit in using FreeFileSync? I'm using an unlimited data..

I know this is an older post but may be helpful for other people. Consumer google drive has some sort of algorithm for throttling. I run into this quite often as I have a Multigigabit internet connection and generally around 200-300GB in one go it will slow and even timeout consistently. Usually waiting a couple of hours and it's back to normal.

That said I can get around 1.2GB/sec to 1.7GB/sec upload. I'm probably one of the only users who could actually use more "threads" for uploading.

In contrast, when I upload to AWS Glacier I can get around 3.5-4GB/sec using a different program designed to upload to Glacier.
