Hi! I discovered this very useful program and I can only congratulate with the programmers for the excellent work.
When I synchronize two folders of which I have activated the detection of the moved files, and there are many files in the freefilesync list, I think it could be very useful to be able to filter the "moved" files so that only the deleted and new files can be viewed copied (to check whether or not to delete important files or copy wrong files).
I don't know if it's an option that maybe I missed to get the same result.
thanks a lot
Good job.
Suggest: filter file to move

you are playing with FIRE here, just discovered a bug??
I have EMPTY folder on left - folder I want to move a filter on RIGHT
DIREMPTY Filter: *.doc* | *.xls* DIRwithFILES replaceDir: NEWLOCATION
with the detect moves, I don't think it works correctly and without I'm unsure as well
LOGIC says this should work, but IT DOESN'T
FLAGGED for FIX
FLAGGED for PROBLEM

Both of your posts are filled with grammar mistakes that make it difficult to interpret your issues.
"only the deleted and new files can be viewed copied" what??
"folder I want to move a filter on RIGHT" Move a filter???

Sorry xCSxXenon for my bad English.
I will try to explain better with an image.
At the bottom of the screen we can "select a view" of the files to see.
I think it would be nice to be able to add a button to show only the files that have been renamed / moved.
In this way when the files to be synchronized are many, with this filter it will be possible to check quickly ONLY which files will be added and / or moved.
Looking at the example image above, I would like to be able to hide (temporarily) the renamed / moved files and show only the files to be deleted and added (or updated).
I hope to be more understandable now.
Sorry again my bad English.

Ah yes! That makes sense! In theory, the "detect moved files" option should already hold that information, it's just a matter of accessing it. Although in practice, when I move files, it just does a delete and copy

"moved/renamed" files are now shown under category "updated" on GUI:
