Hello,
I've run into the issue that configurations keep disappearing. Just randomly, not even after an update (which remotely would make sense) but any time.
Any ideas how to stop this from happening?

The configuration overview panel is populated using the GlobalSettings.xml file in AppData\Roaming\FreeFileSync. This file has a line for every configuration. If the configuration file can't be found at the listed path, it gets removed from the panel display. One of two things could be happening:
1) The XML file is changing, removing the configs. Very unlikely
2) The configuration files aren't being found upon FFS opening. More likely

Where are the config files saved that were disappearing? Somewhere on the local drive, or network location, portable USB stick...?Any ideas how to stop this from happening? itsame, 05 Jun 2024, 05:07
