Freefilesync mirrors pdf ok from external disk to google drive... but original in external disk loses its pdf extension.
We have used Freefilesync for years... We have backed up millions of files. This the first time something like this happens'
How do we stop this from happening? What is going on?

Can you try checking the file system permissions on the external disk and see if any other software is modifying the files during sync? Also, running FreeFileSync with the --debug option might help us figure out what's going on.
