Feature Request: MEGA.NZ and Pcloud

can you add "pcloud" and "mega.nz" cloud storages?

I join this request. google drive has become very problematic with certain types of files. Pcloud and mega are more flexible

Yes, please add pCloud! I want to synchronize my pcloud drive once a month with an external hard drive, but FFS does not notice, if I just moved a folder. It then copies this folder completely again, because FFS tries to compare the inode ids of the source files and folders, but they change every time, when pCloud is mounted again. So please use the id of the file or folder in their metadata:

Can you not access your p: drive created by the pcloud client sw?
I know exactly how you can mount both of those services as I have both and use them both.
There is a free open source utility program that can mount both of those file systems so that you can use them with free file sync.
The only problem is the developer of free file sync doesn't want me to tell you what it is because he does not understand that it is not a competitor to free file sync but a program that complements free file sync by allowing you to mount Cloud drives such as the two that you want.
He keeps bitching at me every time I tell someone how to solve the problem that you have even though you're going to use it with free file sync you're not going to be abandoning free file sync.
The developer doesn't understand that most people want to back up to cloud storage now and free file sync doesn't support Cloud servers other than Google.
It begins with the letter r and ends in

Don't complicate things. On Linux, you don't need to install any client (not pcloud, not mega, no gdrive, or anything). You only need this script, which mounts the cloud drives that you have configured in the program (with "r") and freefilesync will do the rest (synchronize the mounted folders).

Hi everybody! Could someone please tell me if it is possible (and how) to use FFS for syncing from pc (I use Win10) to Mega? Thanks!

Mega isn't natively supported so you will need additional software to get it working with FFSHi everybody! Could someone please tell me if it is possible (and how) to use FFS for syncing from pc (I use Win10) to Mega? Thanks!

For pcloud, I normally use the real pcloud windows and Linux clients. On Windows it will create a P: drive by default so you can synchronize anything you want to your P: Drive.
For Mega and or pcloud you can use rclone to do nothing other than mount a drive or folder to Mega.
Then, you use FFS as you normally would. Regular Mega works very well with FFS. I have an account with them. NSSM software can be used to enable rclone to run as a service that runs automatically when Windows boots.
I get between 300-600 MB/sec which makes it faster than Google and Microsoft.

Mega HAS A CLIENT FOR YOUR OS TO MAP OR MOUNT A DRIVE OR FOLDER!! Windows Mac and Linux all supported.
OK. Got that. I found 2 free solutions you can try. See which one works best.
1. Mega, it turns out, has a Windows command line interface app!! 2FA IS SUPPORTED! It doesn't map a drive by default, but rather supports mounting your drive as webdav link. I was successful at logging into my mega account and then mounting the root of my drive as webdav. You're not done yet. You need to go to Windows File Explorer and select this PC. Right click on this PC and choose to map a drive. Paste into the box the web dav HTTP URL provided by the mega client. It will look like this: http://127.0.0.1:4443/LrJ1WLBK/Cloud%20Drive.
I pasted that link into File Explorer and was able to mount Drive m: to the mega client serving webdav.

airlivedrive is a paid tool, and it is only compatible with Windows. The free version only supports one cloud, so if you have more than one account on Mega you will not be able to sync. Nor will you be able to sync other clouds.TO ALL Mega customers!!!

Mega CMD is a very limited tool in terms of functions. Almost everything is manual.

Most people only have one account. It's completely FREE if you have one account of each type. I've already added two different clouds.
I was able to use FFS to synchronize files between Mega and Microsoft just fine. So don't say you can't sync.
I only threw it out there as an option for people. I'm by no means endorsing it. Furthermore, I don't yet know if it's any good. I'm giving it a test, and we'll see how it works performance wise.
I have one account that's a regular mega account and another that is an S3, so they don't count against each other. And I don't use this thing, I just found it yesterday in case anybody was interested in any of the other Cloud options aside from Mega.
Yes, it is only for Windows. I did notice that. There are other options available out there that are also free and work on Mac and Linux.
Yes, Mega CMD is terminal driven and may not be intuitive to some it's just that if you are a mega customer and you want to use two-factor Authentication and you don't want to use the third party tool this is an option. I only made the posting because other people have been asking for connectivity to Mega.
The third party tool is as you pointed out a lot easier to use because it's a nice friendly graphical user interface so don't be so quick to toss it aside because other people who are not comfortable at the command line might want to just very well use that third party GUI tool that supports 2FA.
