Hi there,
i got this error (see att) after updating from previous Donation version.
I ran FFS 14.0 and then RTS and when i closed RTS i got the error.
Then i closed FFS 14.0 and opened RTS again and now after closing RTS no error anymore.
Just thought i share this.
Cheers,
mlon

That's probably fine. Were you using a fairly old version previously? This has happened a handful of times when updating to a version many many revisions newer

I'd think it to be odd, cause AFAIK ColorTheme did not exist before 14.0 ?
View your GlobalSettings.xml file.
What does it (now) show for 'ColorTheme' (the line containing, ColorTheme)?

<ColorTheme Appearance="Default"/>

That does seem to be correct, default setting, so I wonder if it was not that way, originally, for some reason, which then prompted the Error message you posted.

Oh you know what, I think I know what happened.
That setting didn't exist in your GlobalSettings.xml file because you were running 13.9.
You installed FFS 14.0 and opened it, BUT FFS doesn't save a new GlobalSettings.xml file until you exit it, meaning you still didn't have a "<ColorTheme Appearance="Default"/>" entry when you opened and closed RTS, thus the error.
Then you closed FFS, which updated the GlobalSettings.xml file to include this value, and the error no longer happened.

This begs the question: What is RTS accessing the GlabolSettings.xml file for?

Possibly to also offer dark mode in RTS, following suit of whatever the user uses in FFS?

Yes, that all makes sense.

This is probably correct also. I hadn't opened RTS since the update so I didn't even realize that it also has dark mode lolPossibly to also offer dark mode in RTS, following suit of whatever the user uses in FFS? Plerry, 30 Jan 2025, 08:48
