I suppose by "profiles" you mean sync configurations, saved as *.ffs_gui and/or *.ffs_batch files.
How is FreeFileSync (FFS) to know where to look for such files.
Do you e.g. want to include your network locations and USB drives in the search?
It seems better to simply use a file browser like File Explorer (Windows) or Finder (Apple) to search for those files.
You can then easily direct such file-browser where to search.

I am guessing they are wanting to search the list of opened configurations, so searching there seems like the desired result. How is FreeFileSync (FFS) to know where to look for such files. Plerry, 26 May 2025, 08:27

OK, so then it would need to be a search within the previously used sync configurations, as stored in the <Configurations ...> section of the user's GlobalSettings.xml file.
However, as topic starter writes, he/she has hundreds of "profiles".
By default, in the <Configurations ...> section MaxSize is set to 100.
A user wanting to be able to search his/her last hunderds of sync configurations would need to increase that MaxSize number accordingly.
