Hi everyone,

It's the first time I use FFS. I run it on macOS 10.14.6 (Mojave). I want to sync some folders of a external hard drive on the cloud via SFTP. FFS is on Update mode, with Versioning activated.

It seems to work with a test folder: the files are synced, but it always shows me the same error when a new file is synced:
"Cannot write modification time of "sftp://XXXXX.com/Folder_name/File_name~36af.ffs_tmp
SSH_FX_OP_UNSUPPORTED [libssh2_sftp_setstat]" or ".../File_name~81be.ffs_tmp" and so on.

What can I do?

Thanks in advance!

It looks like the SFTP location doesn't support writing the "last modified" attribute. Is this self-hosted?

No it is not. It's hosted by Infomaniak: https://www.infomaniak.com/en/swiss-backup/open-storage. But I don't understand why a separate file could not be supported.

Permissions can be very granular, down to a single file

FreeFileSync macOS v12.4

I have exactly the same issues that never happened before.

I sync via SFTP from a Mac on macOS Ventura 13.4 to an external HDD connected to a NAS on LAN.
Date/Time compare + Mirror

user have read/write permission rwxrwxrwx (777)

If I try to copy manually files with a SFTP application, I had a SSH Failure.

It seems to come from macOS.
