I added some folders from the user directory to sync.
Among other things, the pictures folder.
Renamed the folder in the Windows user directory to "Photos".
I also renamed the corresponding entries in the registry using instructions on the Internet.
However, FreeFileSync keeps showing "Pictures".
By the way, when you select the directory, the correct name is there. Just as I named it in the user folder and in the registry.
Something's not right.
What bothers and irritates me exactly is that FreeFileSync still says "Pictures".
I hope someone can explain why this is so and maybe solve my problem.

You've only changed the "LocalizedResourceName", which is saved in desktop.ini (=hidden file inside "Bilder"), not the folder name.

And knowing that /\, I would recommend leaving the Windows directories as default for you anyway. it's just a folder name
